Early this year, I went to Palawan with some friends. Our trip involved island hopping, snorkeling, spelunking, playing sungka with foreign backpackers, watching fireflies (a lot of fireflies, actually) and of course, navigating the Puerto Princesa Underground River.

Just in case you didn’t know, the Puerto Princesa Underground River is the world’s longest navigable underground river at 8.2 km.

It features astonishing formations of stalactites and stalagmites, which basically are the main attraction of the whole experience. Let me show you how wonderful it is inside the Puerto Princesa underground River.

So, we just came from a trip to Navotas. And we all know that Roxas Boulevard is just at least a 10-minute drive away from the slums of Navotas. Within that short period of time, the view and the experience from our vehicle changed. And I think one good assumption to make out of it is that,
We’re not poor.

We’re not rich.

We are a case of a bipolar society.
Afraid of that indelible ink.
Believe me when I say I don’t freaking care about tumblarity but it’s just amusing how tumblr Philippines has evolved over the past few months. You see, last July, at tumblarity 808, I was at the 20th spot. One month later, aka August, at tumblarity 924, I’m 47th.
Gujab folks!
