When was the last time that you felt you were...
A genuine feeling of love. Of being loved. That feeling that comes with happy tears. That feeling of reassurance. A validation of your existence. That feeling that makes you feel good. As a person. Feeling and knowing that you did something right.
I felt loved. At a party in The Fort.
I felt loved when my former boss nearly burst into tears when I arrived at her birthday party. When she hugged...

MRT Tales
For almost two weeks now, I’ve been regularly using the MRT to go to work. While I know it’s not the most comfortable means of transportation especially during rush hours, I take it because it’s still faster. Queuing for tickets could take a little time, but that’s nothing compared to the hours spent in EDSA traffic. At any given day, I’d rather get to work on time...

Getting around the metro is always such a pain in the ass. The traffic is bad, the means of transportation, worse. Not to mention the inconsiderate and ill-mannered ways of the people wanting to get ahead. It’s like a jungle, really. The aggressive and the tough overpower the passive and the kind.
Tagaytay Road Trip with Derek
How do you like the idea of getting away from the chaos of the metro to one of the most coveted getaway spots in the country with a celebrity of the now? As for me, I like it a lot.
The DDB PR team together with EastWest Bank executives and its ambassador (and my twitter follower) Derek Ramsay drove up to Tagaytay Highlands for a day of fun and recreation with some friends from the media.

Why PPUR is a true Wonder of Nature
Early this year, I went to Palawan with some friends. Our trip involved island hopping, snorkeling, spelunking, playing sungka with foreign backpackers, watching fireflies (a lot of fireflies, actually) and of course, navigating the Puerto Princesa Underground River.
Just in case you didn’t know, the Puerto Princesa Underground River is the world’s longest navigable underground...

After College, It's Called Alcoholism
Isn’t it annoying when parents go mad about the things that COULD HAVE but NEVER really happened to you?
Like, that one inglorious Friday night, when I went out with my new workmates for the first time and I got real drunk, wasted, and shit that I didn’t even know how I managed to go home at around 4AM, Saturday, without my mobile phone, any money, and ATM card. I mean, I got home...
Which horror film character scared you the most
I am a fan of horror movies. I don’t mind rewatching The Shining, or A Nightmare On Elm Street alone tonight, only if I know my parents would still let me sleep in their room afterwards. But I really love a good scare, especially the type that could beat the man out of me, that I wouldn’t be able to go to the bathroom alone for days, and I would sleep in my parents’ room for two...

BEP in MNL
It’s a tough job but someone has to do it. If you know what I mean.
The job perks are sometimes enough compensation for the long hours of work, and the deadly deadlines that you have to endure. Apart from your big ass salary, it can be your only driving force to stay sane. But for someone who hasn’t even completed a week yet in his new job, you may call it sheer luck.
Last Tuesday...

First day. New role.
Tonight, I say goodbye to the FUNemployed lifestyle I have enjoyed in the past month. I’m also putting on hold my wonderful relationship with books, movies and TV series. With Pottermore, brewing potions all day. With Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr, checking out what my friends have been up to, hitting the F5 button every now and then. I say goodbye to sleeping as late as 4AM and waking up as...

Waterworld
Two-thirds of the earth’s surface is covered by water. But during typhoons, it’s definitely more than that.
1. USA, 2005
Two men paddle in high water by the bridge crossing the Industrial Canal to the Lower Ninth Ward after Hurricane Katrina devastated the area. The total damage from Katrina is estimated at $81.2 billion (2005 U.S. dollars).
2. Philippines, 2009

Samsung PR Chronicles
I’ve been meaning to but I haven’t really gotten around to finding the time and the words to actually write this until now. A long period of writer’s block, I guess, has occurred.
I’ve recently ended my 13-month relationship with Samsung as a PR Assistant. The reason? Well, I guess I don’t have to broadcast it to over 16,000 followers. It’s very personal. But...
